I am a PhD candidate at the Centre for Language Studies at Radboud University. As a language and speech pathologist, my interest lies in examining language in individuals with language or communication impairments due to brain damage. In my PhD project, I am investigating how people with aphasia or cognitive communication disorders due to stroke use language. For this project, I will combine theoretical insights, in particular in the field of linguistics, with clinically orientated research.
