Research Intern

Radboud University

As a research intern at the Language Function and Dysfunction Lab, I completed my master’s thesis on how different treatments for Parkinson’s disease affect language production. In particular, I examined how deep brain stimulation influences the accuracy and speed of producing past tense forms of Dutch verbs in people with Parkinson’s disease. My research interests focus on the variability of language use and how it is shaped by different impairments, especially those related to physical and cognitive ageing.
